Multi-Spindle Drilling Heads generally have collet style spindles.  Collet style spindles are used because their compact design allows close center to center distances.  Customers with applications that required frequent tool changes have asked if key-type chucks could be provided instead of collet style spindles on both Fixed Pattern Drill Heads and Adjustable Twin Spindle Drilling Heads.  They did not need very close spacing so the larger key-type chucks would not cause any problems.  In one application we provided the Twin Spindle Adjustable Drilling Head below for the drilling application.
