AutoDrill recently proposed a Multi-Spindle Drilling Head system for a customer fabricating doors and cabinets.  The system significantly increased their production drilling capabilities.  The Multiple Spindle Drill fixture is capable of drilling twelve hinge holes on a door in three separate hinge locations simultaneously.  Multiple spindle drill heads and AutoDrill self-feeding drills reduce the old multi-step operation to a single step.  Multi-Spindle Drill fixtures are suitable for metallic material and almost any other solid material.  They are designed for continuous production drilling operations. Optional peck feed or standard drilling cycles can be incorporated into the multiple spindle drill system controls.
