Multi-Spindle Drilling Heads are supplied with collet style spindles.  Collet style spindles because of their compact design, allow close center to center distances.  A recent customer with a special application asked if a multiple spindle head could be made to rotate four operations at the same time with standard round motor type shafts.  In response to the request for shaft-type spindle outputs in place of the collet style spindles, we engineered a custom multiple output shaft head.  We provided the Four Spindle Head driven by a standard electric motor as a custom multispindle solution to their problem.
