AutoDrill's 2100 Series self-feed drill is applied when the drilled hole tolerance and finish are critical.  The 2100 Series AutoDrill self-feed drill is based on the 2000 Series self-feed drill with the addition of our Hydro-Speed hydraulic feed control  This feed control overcomes the limitations of pneumatic feed control.  The feed control allows two different feed rates.  The pneumatic feed controls the less critical approach feed rate and the Hydro-Speed controls the critical work penetration feed rate.  Click on the image below to display an animation of the Hydro Speed principle.

The Hydro Speed can be provided mounted in one of three locations.  This flexibility is useful when drilling closely spaced holes and in tight work areas.  It also simplifies maintenance since it can be repositioned or replaced without disturbing the AutoDrill body.  The diagram shows the optional locations.

The 2100 Series AutoDrill includes all the features of the 2000 Series Drill as well as the following:

• Two Speed feed rate control

• Infinitely variable drill feed control

• Clean hole break-thru when necessary
• Improved counterbore or countersink depth contol and finish
• Extended hole size capacity with the precision feed control
