The Series 1000 AutoDrill is a compact pneumatic controlled self-feeding drill.  Pneumatic automation controls for the extension and retraction of the self-feed drill allow it to perform many basic drilling operations.  Operations, such as out of position drilling, close spaced hole drilling and other operations difficult to perform manually can be setup for reliable continuous trouble free production.  Stroke control is adjusted by varying the line pressure and controlling the flow rate with pneumatic flow controls.

Series 1100 AutoDrill

The Series 1100 AutoDrill is based on the Series 1000 AutoDrill with the addition of precision Hydro-Speed feed control.  This additional feed control is useful when clean hole breakthrough, improved hole roundness in thin sections, very small holes, larger holes or when two-speed operation is desired.  Two-speed Hydro-Speed feed rate is standard.  The pneumatic feed controls the work approach speed and the Hydro-Speed, when its rod contacts the built-in stop, controls the work penetration feed rate.  The feed control cylinder does not increase the width of the unit.  This feature is appreciated when drilling closely spaced holes.  Maintenance is also simplified since it can be adjusted or replaced without disturbing the AutoDrill body.
